Depression Counselling

It’s normal to feel sad every now and then but when sadness becomes the norm, life can feel so overwhelming, uninviting and gloomy. Consequently, many start to isolate themselves and disengage with activities that they used to love.

Several factors can be associated with the onset of depression. For example, you may have a genetic predisposition, you may be experiencing a situation that places you at risk of depression (e.g. bullying), or you may have another illness that can co-occur with depression (e.g. PTSD or addiction). Either way, there is help available. Ask Jo for more information.
